Shadows Emerge As Home Prices Continue To Rise

Local home prices rose 12.4 percent in March relative to one year ago.

Irvine, Calif.-based CoreLogic reports local home prices, including sales of distressed properties, continued their double-digit increase as the spring season got going. March prices rose 1.4 percent compared to February.

Portland home price gains continue to beat the national average. CoreLogic said its Home Price Index for March rose 11.1 percent, representing 25 months of consecutive annual gains.
